What are Breath Awareness Courses?

This is a course designed to look at your current symptoms and the way your breathing is affecting you. Through the use of various techniques, many from Yoga and Pilates, the course comprises six structured lessons which are tailored to fit your particular needs.

The aims of the course are to:

Re-educate your breathing patterns;
Look at the importance of good posture in breathing;
Give you practical tools to use in your daily life
Assist with voice production
Create a more energy efficient body
Learn techniques to alleviate stress or panic

What does a session involve?

 A session is about an hour. During this time we will look at your progress so far and you will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any issues. Next we will go through the exercises for that lesson ensuring you understand how to perform them correctly.

Finally, we will discuss what you will do at home and set a time for the next session.

 Please where loose comfortable clothing for the sessions.
