What Do Clients Say?
I was suffering with emotional stress which was presenting with loss of appetite, poor sleep, skin irritation, and dizzy episodes.
Over a ten week period I was pleased to report a wonderful appetite, improved sleep, no skin irritation and able to stop medication for these, plus no dizzy spells.
Once you get used to the treatment the benefits are obvious and I would recommend them to anyone.

Therapeutic Yoga Massage
Yoga is at the heart of all massage treatments I give.
Yogic principals of: Working in harmony with the body; Listening to the body; and Waiting for the body to make changes when it is open and ready to do so. All lie at the centre of every treatment.
Each session is tailored to the individual, and I draw from a range of techniques: Traditional Thai Massage; Sports Massage; Yoga; Craniosacral Therapy; and Indian Head Massage. I combine the Western principals of Anatomy and Physiology with an Eastern approach to the Body/Mind complex; taking the person as a Whole Being, therefore looking at the physical body, the emotional body, and the Spiritual body.
Sessions are always particular to the client and how they are on the day, so no two sessions are the same.
Most sessions take place on a mat on the floor. However, certain clients may require treatment on a massage couch. There is also a massage chair available for back, shoulders, neck and head massages.
As sessions are personal to each client it is essential we have a chat first to see what is best for you. Please call or email me to arrange a phone consultation.
A Typical Session and its Benefits:
Starting with the feet and moving up to the head the body is taken through a series of gentle manipulations. Yoga based stretches are used where necessary. The sequence is designed to detect areas of tension and restriction within the muscles and joints. The body is then assisted in the release of such tensions through the use of breathing, stretches and gentle compressions. The aim of the sessions are to re-educate the body/mind as to how to hold itself in a relaxed and posturally efficient way. Particular attention is paid to the breath as each session gradually works on creating effective unrestricted breathing patterns which benefit the whole being both physically and mentally.
Conditions which have benefitted from treatments include:
IBS; Fibromyalgia; Sciatica; Muscular tension; Migraines; Low mood.
